This year we are thrilled to have launched the flagship store in New York for icon brand R.M. Williams. The work was a collaboration and dialogue with PopovBass architects, around forming an artistic expression of landscape, within a store environment, in the busy streets of SOHO in New York City.
The foundation for the design, hinges on two large handcrafted, pre-cast sculptural installations, which as intepretations of landscape, guide the experience of space and a creating a dialogue of place. The concrete elements of the works we created in Sydney, Australia and shipped to New York. The total mass is approx. 3.5 tonnes.
Elements from the original R.M. Williams factory in Australia were incorporated into the design to tie the store to its craftsmanship heritage and place the skills of the workers within the shopping environment.

I feel very proud to be part of a very talented group of creative minds, who are taking part in Cult Design Australia’s ‘The Chairity Project 2016’. This year we are interpreting the ‘Officina’ chair by Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec. As with last year all auction bids go to the charity of choice to the interpreter. I have again chosen to support Doctors Without Borders. Join the online auction from Thursday the 17th on www.galabid.com/auction/chairity2016

Thank you gwarchitects.com.au and Woollahra Municpal Council for organising an informative evening in conversation with herself and Penelope Seidler, who generously shared her wealth of experience in the ocean of art, architecture and the politics of that mixture.
